Red Piranha, Australia’s leading developer and manufacturer of advanced cybersecurity solutions, is pleased to announce that the Export Council of Australia has recognised our strong export success during the last financial year by awarding their Emerging Exporter during the Western Australian Export Awards.

Proudly accepting the award from the Governor of Western Australia the Honourable Kim Beazley AC and the Honourable Bill Johnston MLA during the ceremony held at Government House on Wednesday, 6 October, Red Piranha's Chief Executive Officer Adam Bennett commented:

“Red Piranha has worked tremendously hard over the last eight years to proudly earn this level of recognition within the West Australian business community. I want to congratulate the entire Red Piranha team, and we cannot achieve multiple accolades like this without talented, passionate and dedicated people to drive our innovative approach to protect our partners and customers against new and emerging cyberthreats”.

As the winner in this year’s Western Australian Industry and Export Awards, Red Piranha will proudly represent Western Australia at the upcoming 59th Australian Export & Investment Awards on 25 November. With thirteen national category winners to be selected from each of Australia's states and territory winners, one of whom will receive the converted 2021 Australian Exporter of the Year title.

"All the 2021 winners are examples of the strength shown by Western Australian exporters during these unprecedented times. We continue to see businesses demonstrate great resilience and ingenuity and developing new international relationships to continue exporting goods and services to the world."

State Development, Jobs and Trade Minister Roger Cook

The Western Australian Industry and Export Awards provides a platform to honour and recognise the Western Australian businesses achieving substantial business success and growth through innovation and commitment to their industry. These Awards are coordinated by Invest and Trade Western Australia, part of the WA Government’s Department of Jobs, Tourism, Science and Innovation, in partnership with the Export Council of Australia.

This is Red Piranha’s sixth award win and/or nomination for 2021 following our Australian Defence Industry Award Nomination and winning the Global InfoSec Award for Next-Gen in XDR during the RSA Conference, and our Baby Black Unicorn win.
